Many thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay. Excellent food and spacious clean accommodation in the best of taste.

Wonderful guiding by Mass- we are now over 220 species in our two weeks. His enthusiasm and competence are exemplary, including taking better photos with our camera than we usually manage.

Next time will remember to spend at least a couple of days chilling out at Farakunku instead of chasing birds every day.

Excellent value and brilliant organisation.

All the best to you and all the staff in the future.

Our first week in The Gambia had been ‘difficult’ to say the least, so arriving here, at such a lovely place, felt like an oasis and so it has been!

You seem to have thought of everything and despite the political difficulties and uncertainty that you are all going through at the moment, everyone has done their utmost to make sure we have an enjoyable stay, and we have.

Many thanks to you both and all the staff and we wish you well for the future.

Thank you for a very nice, welcoming stay here. I’m impressed by the high level of cleanliness here and the bed was fantastic! I enjoyed the meals and the company so I wish you lots of success with your lodge. (Moses, remember that smoking does not help anything! I hope you mange to quit!)

Thank you for all the efforts and for everything you’ve done for us. It was really a big relief to arrive (very late at 01.45 a.m. so we were exhausted) to a very clean and comfortable room with a bed with an excellent mattress. I am stunned by all the solar power equipment for the warm showers and all the lights…big compliments!

The food was delicious. How delicate and tasteful were your flowers on the table each night (bougainvillea and flowers from the silk cotton tree)

I wish you lots of success with this beautiful project. Thanks also to all the other members of the Farakunku team. Hope to come back again in the near furure!
